Backtagging | Always.
Fourthwalling | I'd rather not.
Content Warning | Natasha's canon involves brainwashing, violence, and bad metaphors for gender oppression and sexual assault. I have no specific triggers.
General | I don't have a prose/brackets preference, so feel free to make requests. I try to tag about once a day, sometimes more sometimes less.
Physical Affection | OOCly I'm comfortable with this, IC reactions will be variable.
Violence | Character is from a superhero comic, fighting is what she does, feel free to throw the first punch. Major injury and death is something I prefer to discuss beforehand, but feel free to PM me.
Psychics | Natasha has some basic SHIELD training against mind-reading, but nothing a dedicated telepath can't get through. Her psyche is a little warped from repeated intrusion.
Shipping (Y) | Bucky, Matt, Clint, Sharon.
Shipping (N) | Nick (Sr.), Maria, Yelena, most villains, anyone under 20.
A Note | I'm open to most anything else, especially with proper build-up, including cross-canon. I don't do smut, so all encounters in that direction will likely be fade-to-black.
Canon Familiarity (Comics) | I've read all of Natasha's 616 appearances, and am generally fluent and up-to-date in wider Avengers, Daredevil, and Captain America canon. I've also read most of her major AU appearances, including Ultimates 1 & 2, 1602, 1872, &c &c. I have only medium proficiency in the X-Men and Spider-Man sides of Marvel canon.
MCU Awareness | I've seen the bulk of Natasha's MCU appearances and read the comic tie-ins that focus specifically on her. My familiarity with other MCU properties is pretty hit or miss.
AU Castmates | I play from 616 continuity but I really like cross-universe CR and exploring the differences between timelines. I don't always have my characters ICly recognize AU canonmates right-off, but feeling ~a connection~ nonetheless. I'm also more than happy to just go with the flow of a thread, if you want to do it another way!
Content Warning | Natasha's canon involves brainwashing, violence, and bad metaphors for gender oppression and sexual assault. Please let me know if you want me to avoid these topics, or if you want to opt-out of playing with Natasha altogether. I have no specific triggers.
